Hi all the experts,
I want to use some stable version of heartbeat. Which version is
suggested from the community? My feeling is 2.0.8 is tested more
than
2.1.2. Is that correct?
No. 2.0.8 was a disaster of a release - please dont use it.
Also, I searched the rpm packages for heartbeat, looks the 2.1.2 rpm
files is not available for FC. Or I missed something?
try here:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/ha-clustering/
(yes, it says opensuse.org but there are FC 6,7 & 8 packages there
too)
is it to critical to release also rhel 3,4,5 packages on an opensuse
server?
I'd like to, but there are obviously political reasons why that is
unlikely to happen.
Some RHEL releases are indirectly supported because they can use the
packages from one of the FC distros.
