just for the archives. The example configuration I provided earlier in this
thread works as provided. The problem was that the package I used did not bring
an external/ipmi plugin. After I copied external/ipmi manually over and made it
executable it worked. I tested it in that way:
kill -9 -23941
23941 is the PID of the master heartbeat process. Which was easily found
using "pstree -u -p". After a few seconds the remainding node shot the
other:
