Well, for gentoo please use an up-to-date version (current is heartbeat-2.1.3) from wschlich's testing overlay. It's explained here, how to get such a overlay running (take a look at - Getting started - ): http://overlays.gentoo.org/dev/wschlich/wiki After layman is configured, use $> layman -a wschlich-testing for adding his overlay and layman -s wschlich-testing for further syncs.
