Hi,

If i do a

ifconfig venet0 192.168.188.122 netmask 255.255.255.0

inside a OpenVZ virtual machine I cannot ping this IP address from outside 
since the host of that vitual machine does not know anything about that new 
IP address also consequently does not publish it via ARP.

Do I make a fundamental error here? Did I miss any other command? Please can 
you describe how you succeeded? Thanks.
