Hi again, Thanks for your comments. However, I'm afraid I did try that. in the URL you posted, the steps are pretty much detailed, but more specifically for versions > 2.0.8...
In any case, I tried the step by step about three times, re-ordering the steps after it failed for the first time, without success. I was particularly intrigued by the delhostcache removing and hb_delnode step on fw2, since it didn't work... So it didn't help much after all... But thanks again for your quick reply :) Regards, Niko. 2008/5/9 Dejan Muhamedagic <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Hi, > > On Fri, May 09, 2008 at 11:23:49AM +0200, Niko wrote: > > Dear all, > > > > I have the following environment set up: > > > > =============================== > > OS: RHEL 4 update5 > > HeartBeat: 2.0.8 > > Node type: Iptables + FwBuilder > > =============================== > > Problem origin: > > The environment was working fine before an incorrect shut down of one of > the > > machines (for balance testing in power failure scenario) forced an fsck > and > > all data on one of the nodes was lost. > > Let's call the nodes: fw1 and fw2. > > fw1 disapeared, so to speak. > > fw2 was fine, identically configured. > > =============================== > > To try and solve the problem quickly, we made a tar.gz of the whole fw2 > > disk, and restored it on fw1 disk. > > At this point we of course had two fw2.
