you can try not to integrate ocfs2 in heartbeat and mount it with a script. You may want to look at http://wiki.linux-ha.org/AtulAthavale It is a kinda same set up for Xen but can be used for KVM too
ocfs2 will not get cluster information from heartbeat. This could lead to some weirdness if ocfs2 thinks this and heartbeat doesn't think the same. I see some "ocfs2 self fencing" around this. But maybe this isn't a problem anymore.
