Hello all :)

This is essentially a 'bump' of this old thread:

http://lists.community.tummy.com/pipermail/linux-ha/2005-November/017723.html

I am in the same situation of having routers with full routing tables
(now 255k routes!) and the use of /proc/net/route by 'findif' makes the
heartbeat package almost unusable.

At present it's taking several minutes per line
in /etc/ha.d/haresources, and because we have 9
IPaddr2::AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD/NN lines it would take nearly an hour to hand
over :(

Is there anyone interested in updating findif for the 'iproute2'
interface, or even converting it to a shell script using '/bin/ip' which
responds lightning-fast?

Pretty please? :)

Cheers,
Gavin.
