Hello, I have read through the documentation online as well as in the
comments for the haresources file, so I understand that

what I am asking may not be the normal way of doing things. I have not
searched for others on this list who have asked the same previously.

I have three interfaces on each node of the cluster and each has multiple
vlans, plus bonding.

I would like to forego having a management IP on the "outside" interface in
addition to the service IP.

The documentation says that I can do this even if I don't have a management
IP within the same subnet already assigned to the interface of my choice, by
designating which interface the service IP is assigned to, in addition to
the broadcast and netmask. However, I am then left without a default gateway
- since there isn't a preconfigured management IP on this interface.

So I guess my question is simply how do I add a default gateway, through
heartbeat, for my service IP interface?

My other "inside" interfaces are where the management IP will be kept.

Even if the answer is "It doesn't work that way", Thank you for any and all
suggestions!

-Jeff
