ipaddr2 does not generate an interface alias (ifname0:0). You can see the
additional address with "ip addr show INTERFACE".

node, and the ping passes. But if I type ifconfig, the VIP's interface
(eth0:0) not appears. How could I verify that the virtual mac address is
the one I have specified in the cib.xml ?
