Hi list,

I've got a question on what I did not yet receive an answer on other
mailinglists or by my friend google yet.

I have an active/standby-failover cluster.

Resources are some apps and virtual IPs.

One appplication is an ftp-proxy.
Connectiong to the proxy works just fine by ftp'ing to the virtual
cluster-IP, but when you start to connect to the real ftp-server the
physical IP-address of the server is used.

The Problem is: I'm forced to come to the gateway with the cluster-IP as
source address because this will deny all other addresses.

I already found something on HP's forums, but this doesn't work: Adding
a static route "route add -host <target-IP> gw <virtual-IP>"
But with this route no packets to destination <target-IP> leave the
interface anymore.

So if anyone gould give me a hint, please let me know.

Thanks a lot
Florian
