Isn't that what we have redundant power supplies and UPS for? I think
STONITH has nothing to do with this.

It's written somewhere that HA isn't enough itself, you need redundancy
for your power, switches, communication paths, etc. as well. 

We even have on site emergency generator which is expensive business and
I understand that not everybody can afford it but you can easily
increase the availability with UPS and DUAL PSU units.
