I run MySQL on a 5-node cluster using a shared SAS storage environment (HP MSA70). I had to customize the LSB init script for MySQL so that it'd pick up its configuration from the shared storage, but other than that, I haven't had any problems with fail-over or corruption. I'm just about to put this set-up into production.
