Hi Tobias,

Well I have configured STONITH external/ipmi and have 2 resources set up, with a constraint to run each corresponding resource on each node but when I pull the cross-over cable between those nodes they shoot eachother and both poweroff.
In my two-cluster node case, one would win and reset the other node. That node would come up and reset the first node. This effect has been called a shooting match and could be fixed by: - change action from power reset to power off or - don't start heartbeat automatically on boot You will want to have more than one link for heartbeat as well. Check this thread: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/linuxha/users/46466 One note of caution, this was over a year ago w/ 2.1.3. YMMV w/ 2.1.4 regards, Johan
Is this how it is intended?I mean if I delete one of those stonith resources then only one machine can be powered off, that's not really helpful. I guess that a 2-node cluster just doesn't work, but then it should have been noted somewherein the documentation!Bye, Tobi _______________________________________________ Linux-HA mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linux-ha.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-ha See also: http://linux-ha.org/ReportingProblems
