Great work Rasto, go on, hope you will be the hero to save our souls ! ;-)
Installing the jar was a snap, but ... it does not work with Pacemaker.
The current gui for heartbeat/pacemaker is nothing compared with this if it would work with pacemaker.

In case you have not yet noticed,

Rasto Levrinc of LINBIT has worked on a GUI for heartbeat/CRM and DRBD
for quite some time now.
We have decided to do a beta release yesterday.

Note that this has been developed against the management daemon
of 2.1.3, some remaining minor glitches with 2.1.4 are being fixed while
you are reading this.
We also know of some LC_ALL/LANG/LANGUAGE issues in the perl helper
program already, which have also been fixed already.

It has NOT been used against pacemaker at all yet,
so it very likely will behave in strange ways
when used against pacemaker clusters.

It should be easy enough, though, to adjust the python code calling the
mgmtd, or replace it with calls to the new crm shell.
Pacemaker support is only weeks away.

Please check it out.

Any and all feedback wellcome,
either here, or on drbd-user,
or preferably on the new drbd-mc mailing list, see below.

Thanks,

Subject: [drbd-mc] DRBD Management Console

Hi,

We are happy to announce the availability of the DRBD Management
Console. It is a nice graphical interface for DRBD/Heartbeat
cluster management. It is a Java® application, therefore it runs
not only on Linux but also on other vendor's desktop operating systems.

The DRBD Management Console is currently in beta quality. You will for sure find bugs. On the other hand, it can already be used for reasonable work as of today, i.e. to configure and to control a DRBD/Heartbeat cluster.

Features:

* Wizard driven installation/update of DRBD/Heartbeat on you cluster nodes
* Wizard driven creation of Heartbeat configuration file ha.cf
* Presents NICs and block devices
* Graphical representation of complete DRBD status
* Create new DRBD resources in the DRBD overview
* Actions on DRBD resources available as context menu in the DRBD status view
* Graphical representation of Heartbeat resources and their constraints
* Resource states and the node they run on included in the graph
* Context menus with actions on Heartbeat resources
* Text console view of all commands DRBD MC issues
