Hi all,

I'm using Heartbeat2 with Debian 5.0 Lenny. Previously Etch.

I have 2 issues:

1.

The management daemon, mgmtd, is running and appears to be listening to
all interfaces on port 5560. We are not using any kind of client for
monitoring and I do not like exposing ports. I have prevented access to
this port via an iptables rule.

My questions are:
- how can I shutdown mgmtd? I gather that it is a "component part" and
this might be hard.
- is it advisable to actually use a client management program? If so
which one? It is a two-node active-passive cluster with virtual IP.

2. I use crm_mon to produce a HTML status page like this:

crm_mon --daemonize --as-html <location>/index.html

However since using the version that comes with Lenny (previously Etch)
I see this new message every minute in the syslog:

crm_mon: [<PID>]: ERROR: Cannot open <location>/index.html.tmp for
writing: Success

index.html is updating successfully.

I have checked the permissions and other obvious things. How to fix or
silence it?

Thanks

Regards
