Hello everybody,

right now I am trying to set up stonith for out 3 node Cluster. We have 2 APC
Smart UPS 1000 for this purpose. Both APC units are
equipped with a extra network management card. All nodes are connected to the
LAN via NIC1 and to a HB switch through NIC2.

This is my set up:

APC1 (connected to LAN)
Node1 (has only one power supply)
Node3 (has two power supplies)

APC2 (connected to LAN)
Node2 (has only one power supply)
Node3 (has two power supplies)

Right now I am stuck and can not figure out how the apc plugins can send its
shutdown commands to the APC throuh those network
management cards. Does anyone know if that is possible? If that is not possible
I must use the serial cable and not all nodes can
comminicate to the APCs. This means I only can connect 2 of the three nodes and
if I am thinking correctly this set up is not quite
save in case of split brain.

Thanks for your help
