Ciao,

thanks

usually I've resolved this issue with the kill -9 <pid> and try to remove all the pid file ..
generally this workaround works :-)

When I turn into this problem again I will try to post a hb_report,
anyway I don't know how to open bugzilla and create a hb_report :-)

Ciao,

I have a couple of questions regarding heartbeat

- heartbeat cannot stop on node that is running the resource when heartbeat
in the other node is already down

It probably has nothing to do with the resource.

        service heartbeat stop

There used to be bugs in this area, perhaps you ran into one of
those. To check that, you'll have to post hb_report tarball. If
it's too big, please open a bugzilla and attach it there.

doesn't work this happens with V2 style. How can I avoid that ?

- If I understood correctly the DC node is the master node, it has nothing
to do with the active node, is that right ?

Right.

if true I don't understand what DC does.

The DC node makes all the decisions. It's internal, don't have
to worry about that.
