I recently used Heartbeat I am having difficulty in adding a new node in heartbeat now. I have spent a whole day on trying to work it out but still have no clue yet, any help is greatly appreciated. Here is my problem. There are two nodes, i.e. proxy1 and proxy2, in the cluster and connected by heartbeat. Proxy1 is disconnected and another server is started and named as proxy1 (using hostname command). The new proxy1's UUID is set to the same as the old proxy1's (using cib_uuid -w), and then the heartbeat service is started on proxy1. The result is the new proxy1 is never added into the cluster. The crm_mon on proxy2 says proxy1 is offline, and the crm_mon on new proxy1 only shows proxy1 itself. I've checked the log on proxy2 and found some complain about "proxy1 is not in our membership". The "autojoin" is set to any in both ha.cf files. Any clue?
