Just remove the files. They are going to be synced from another
node.

Hi Michael..

I nearly fell of the chair when I read the bit about writing my own
Daemon,
just a little outside of my skill set!

I reckon sysinfo is my best bet!

Thanks again

yes, I discovered the difference between this config and an another
node's config - the difference is here I use IPAddr2 (based on an
example), every another place I'm using IPAddr.

Thank you for your help.

Hi List,
During our HA testing, the box hosting our nodes crashed. When we
brought them back up, and restarted HB, on one node, the following files
( cib.xml and cib.xml.last ) both ended up with 0 bytes.
I tried using cibadmin to replace the whole cib but the byte count
remains zero.
How can I fix this ?
Any help or ideas will be much appreciated.

TIA
Bernie Wu

Looks like part of Heartbeat wasn't installed (probably
cluster-glue-libs). Can you verify the packages (rpm -q
--verify).

Thanks,

Dejan

When I run the verify I get a blank response

[r...@welsh ~]# rpm -q --verify cluster-glue-libs
[r...@welsh ~]#

When I run yum list cluster-glue-libs

Installed Packages
cluster-glue-libs.i386                1.0-12.1
installed
cluster-glue-libs.x86_64              1.0-12.1
installed

Hi List,
I have a constraint identifying nodeA as the master in our 2 node
master/slave setup.

<rsc_location id="drbd0-master-1" rsc="ms-drbd0">
  <rule id="drbd0-master-on-nodeA" role="master" score="100">
    <expression id="exp-1" attribute="#uname" operation="eq"
value="nodeA"/>
  </rule>
</rsc_location>

If I shutdown HB on nodeA, nothing fails over to nodeB.
Do I need another constraint for slave nodeB with a lower score ?

Any help, advice or pointers would be much appreciated.

TIA
Bernie Wu

I wonder why do you have both 32-bit and 64-bit version. Can you
delete the 32-bit one and try again.

Thanks,

Dejan
I tried doing a yum erase of the i386 package and it uninstalled but
when I tried top start the service is gave me a blank response so I
completely removed both versions and tried just installing the x84_64
version.

Yum install heartbeat_XX.XX.XX.x86_64 that went fine.

I was then able to start the service with the correct config. It looks
like that fixed my problem.

I was confused by both versions, but thought that maybe the x86_64
version needed something from the i386 install.

Thanks for the help
