Hi,

We have mysql-5.1.32 master-master replication cluster with floating VIP,
which determines which is the actual master that gets the traffic.

To manage the floating VIP we use Linux HA R1-like, in Active-Passive mode.

The MySQL is not managed by HA, since HA R1-like it does not support mysql
monitoring and active-active mode of mysql.

For mysql monitoring we use monit.

We want now to evaluate Linux HA R2-like, in order to use mysql ocf
resources and to fully manage & monitor mysql’s & VIP only with HA without
monit.

So my question is - Does Linux HA R2-like support such configuration of
mysql master-master (Active-Active) cluster with floating VIP
(Active-Passive) ?

 If yes:

1. How do I configure it ?

2. Does HA R2 – mysql ocf resource support replication monitoring as
well ?

thanks
