Thanks for your answer. I am aware of the currently supported STONITH devices. I guess what I wanted to know is, is it possible to develop such a fencing plugin? As far as I can tell, there is nothing in the current infrastructure that would prevent this plugin from working, is there? It does not look particularly difficult if one has some time to write the plugin properly, but I may be underrating things a bit here (as in: I am a sysadmin, not a coder, and I am not very good at assessing the difficulty of writing this kind of tool).
