For me it completely doesn't, sorry. Oracle RAC is a very complex (and
very expensive) product that has all that you need without using any
additional products. Use Oracle RAC + Oracle Custerware + Oracle ASM.
Oracle 11G supports s shared filesystem over ASM so you don't have to
use OCFS2. It'll be complex enough in supporting without bringing
additional complexity of Pacemaker or Heartbeat.
