What I wanted to say is: I didn't know of the fact that the path is adjusted
by (in this case) stonith. Running the external stonith plugin on the command 
line
didn't get the results expected. Now, with the knowledge presented by you
it's working like intended. I was simply not aware that there is a defined
runtime environment besides the stonith parameters.
