Hi all.
I'm quite new with this new way of troubleshooting.
If I'm missing something please let me know.

I'm using Heartbeat for a wile now(ver 2.1.4). and is working fine.
I installed Heartbeat with "Yum install Heartbeat" command
configured like the doc's told me to.
Works like a dream.

So now and then the server needs be be updated with newer version so i issued
the command "yum update"
And i noticed later that Heartbeat was not working anymore. i found out that
there was a newer version of Heartbeat installed
there was nothing changed in the configuration at all.

[r...@server /]# service heartbeat start
Starting High-Availability services:
/etc/init.d/heartbeat: line 253: /ResourceManager: No such file or directory
Done.

[r...@server /]#

So i wend to the test environment (Don't ask me the why i did that later and
not first :-/ (Shaming)).
I tested the 2.1.4 version and works as a bell, no problem at all.
Updated an also there i'm getting the same problem.
so i lookt up the file and rule #
/usr/share/heartbeat/ResourceManager
"[ $HA_STOPRETRYMAX -le 0 -o  $retries -lt $HA_STOPRETRYMAX ] &&"
i dont know what this all means at all.

If tried to rollback the to version 2.1.4 but with no luck. Upgrading is also
not working to 3.0.2.

If i do a service heartbeat stop .. it hangs nothing happens.
i need to kill the process PID to stop.

I hope some one can help me with this. I'm sure I'm overlooking some thing.
If you need more information. please let me know.
Thx in advanced

ps: I'm using fedora core 12
