Hello I'm going to be running a two-node load balancer in an active/passive configuration with HAProxy and Heartbeat. This will be in front of at least two Apache backend servers. I have several Drupal CMS sites, and a few of them need SSL, so it looked to me as if Stunnel with HAProxy would be the best option in the load balancers. I have separate public IP addresses for each of the SSL certs, and I'm on my own network, so I have all the internal IP's I need. After doing some reading around here, I find myself confused on how Drupal handles traffic from the load balancer. Some of what I was reading made it seem that Drupal can't tell from this kind of set up whether or not the traffic is SSL or not. I was hoping someone on this list has had some experience with this kind of setup, and they could let me know if I making this more complicated than I need.
