Hello all,

I've been using heartbeat for a couple of years now to manage a
couple of virtual IPs for replicating Mysql servers. I have to redo a
similar setup now and was looking to use the new heartbeat 3.

I was looking for the quorumd that I used to use, but from what I read
it seems to have been removed. I was wondering how to replace this
functionality with Heartbeat 3. I was thinking along the lines of adding
a 3rd node to the heartbeat and just configure it so that resources are
never assigned to it. This would give me a 3-node voting system to help
avoid split-brain problems.

Would this work? Is there a better way to fix quorum problems on 2 node
clusters? I searched through the mailing list archives, but couldn't
find anything (or not searching with the proper terms).

Thank you for your help.
