Hello to everybody
I am meant to test if one - eventually six - ORACLE rdbms databases can be run
on a HA SLES11.1 in active/active mode (now 2 latter 4 nodes).
If traffic rises the whole instance should scale and a second machine is meant
to hande queries too.
ORACLE on SLES11.1 is fully functional und runs fine.
The HA C is configured and ORACLE can be startet, BUT only on one node.
Question/Problem:
Cannot start the rdbms on the other instance at the same time, or better
phrased, the database insance cannot be in exitence parallel.
Has anyone any idea, if
-) ORACLE needs to be configured distinctively for that purpose
-) knows a place where to find configuration hint/example/explanations.
Whatever I find along with SLES or oracle is mystical.
