Check in the status section if the attribute is really being
updated:

# cibadmin -Ql | less

Note that it takes a few seconds, depending on dampen, for the
attribute update to take place. You should find one value for
each node.

Once you made sure that the attribute is in the status section,
check that the location constraint contains the right attribute
name (it should be "pingd", unless you used another name).
