Turns out it is. I downgraded the idle node to 1.0.9 and started heartbeat there. I then have a working cluster. I then tried disabling heartbeat on the 1.0.10 node, and got another mutual stonith which ends up with all the resources on the 1.0.9 node. Then I downgraded the other node to 1.0.9, and the cluster is now working again in HA mode.
