DISCLAIMER: I'm running the "no longer supported obsolete busted" 2.1.4 
in R1 configuration.

I have mon doing resource monitoring, the 2 relevant scripts are:

1. Monitoring: greps for "Link detected: yes" in output of ethtool eth0 
("network" link). If that fails,

2. Alert: runs hb_standby all and sends me an e-mail.
