Hi. The version I use is the newest I found distributed with CentOS rpm's (I choose this for compatibility reason). I also tried to recompile heartbeat v3 (I don't remember exact version) and to use non "official" heartbeat 3 rpms for CentOS, but I had the same problem with Red Hat Enterprise 5. I did a lot of trials...the last one was to change kernel with a newer version: from the 2.6.18-164.el5PAE of RH to 2.6.33; with this one my heartbeat works fine!
