That is not correct, by the way. "iflabel" is implemented and passed to
the "ip" command via the "label" commandline option (if set).

It gets overwritten if you've also specified an explicit "foo:0" name
for the NIC (that should only be the basename, i.e., "eth0", not
"eth0:1").

If you've got any problems with that, please report it to support. I
appreciate that you're participating in the community, but the community
is not the best place to get prompt responses or resolution of problems
of products - neither for SUSE nor for RHT ;-)
