Hello Volker, This is a much better solution to have than using shell scripts in more ways than one. We can now have concepts such as abstracting outwards, object oriented etc... I would be interested in contributing to a "Shell OCF -> Python OCF converstion". I come from a strong C, C++, and Java background, and Python should not be a problem.
