Tobbe,
        I expect it is because your Red Hat has the new glibc and the
6pack was written for libc 5 or lower. I have my old slackware connected
to this RH 5.2 and already have moved library's from slackware to RH so
that my backup program and g77 will run. I will try to compile 6pack and
let you know how it goes.
