Gentlemen,
I have been running the ax25-utils with 2.0.35 on a RedHat system
with glibc with no problems and recently got a new 486 box and
decided to upgrade the node with 2.0.36. I recompiled the kernel
with all the relevant stuff according to the howto. However ...
using the same scripts as with the 2.0.35 kernel
kissattach -i 44.69.196.17 -m 512 /dev/ttyS1 ax0
kissattach: TIOCSETD: Invalid argument
I am able to connect to the tnc (kpc-3) with minicom with no problem.
/proc/ioports reads 02F8-02ff:serial (auto)
03f8-03ff:serial (auto)
/proc/interrupts does not show any interrupt used until I fire
up minicom to talk with the tnc and then interrupt 3 is used.
I checked the sources as well as I could being a novice at C/C++
and it would appear to be a kernel/ttyS1 comm problem, but I'm
only guessing. (that's why I checked the comm between minicom and
the tnc)
Has anyone got some help to send my way??
Thanks
J Cusick
