We're being told that the DRSI Type 1 card (using the onboard 1200 baud
modem) on our BBS system is transmitting a lot of garbage packets. Not
all are bad, but supposedly many of the packets we send can't be
decoded. The radio is on frequency, and deviation is set properly. We
are now wondering if we have a z8530drv configuration problem.

The system is a 486 running Linux 2.0.33, Debian 1.3 (not the new libc
stuff), patched with ax25-module-14f and ax25-utils-2.1.42a. All the
ax25 stuff seems to be configured properly, and other RF ports work
just fine.

Does anyone have a working configuration for a DRSI card that they
could send me?

Thanks...
