Hi,
For sysop and maintenance activities I'm using ssh to do a secure login
on the local BBS. But ssh is a pain in the rear if you're using it over
a slow (4k8) RF-link. It has too much protocol overhead.
Are there any other ways to do a secure login over AX.25 on a PC running
Linux?
I'm not interested in an encrypted link. Only the login procedure should
be secure.
Is there a utility that enables me to do a login similar to FBB-BBS.
i.e. give back a sequence of 5 numbers which correspond with character
in a long (80 or more characters) password string?
