I am trying to run the soundmodem stuff (kernel 2.1.132 and AX-utils 2.1.42)
I have setup 2 startup files because I'm having difficulties getting things
started
one contains the setcrystal, sethdlc and setmixer commands, the other one
contains the kissattach and net2kiss commands followed by ax25d and mheardd
(both are included as an attachement to this mail). Reason for using
net2kiss is that I want to run tnos 2.30.
Seems to me that somewhere along this process I've made an error in the
configuration, because kissattach won't initialize well and after that
net2kiss
won't either!
Can anyone tell me what might be wrong? Kissattach returns an I/O error
on all virrual tty's (I've tried ttypa...f and ptypa...f as well as
ttyp0...3 and
ptyp0..3 allthough I would expect only ttyx is allowed??)

p.s. I am using a SB32 AWE and the soundmod is NOT running....
