Gentlemen,

At your leisure, would someone explain the difference between
Virtual Connection mode and DataGram mode relative to ax25 connections.
I've investigated the limited resources I have here and can't find much
that explains the differences and uses.
The reason I ask is that recently I took on the task of upgrading
the local packet system and had a heck of of a time networking jnos/dos to
ax25/linux until I had them both in DG mode (and thanks again to the group
on htpp convers channel 32767).
Essentially, what are the differences and why or when would I
choose one and/or the other?

Thank you all,
JC
