You dont need to worry,????? i would and i can assure you he needs to also.
By using the patch Brian has corrupted his "KERNEL SOURCE".

This has absolutly no relation to the problem here, the errors above are
from a kernel compile and not from the ax25-utilitys..

Not for a kernel compile..

Like The other chappie said DO NOT PATCH THE KERNEL, we are talking kernel
source here..

To solve this problem, delete the whole kernel source tree and start again.
