Still running K6 here, but want to upgrade to K6-2 in the new year.
Please let me know anything you find out. K6 works you-beaut.

UDMA is the next thing after EIDE. Extra speed mostly. Linux will ignore
it if your controller doesn't support it (I'm using an Intel 430HX based
board; you need 430TX or better for UDMA); don't know if you can use it
if your controller has it -- the answer is probably "in kernel 2.1".
