Hy there,
I´m trying to built up an AX25
Link across the Internet with the very nice AX25IPD proggie out of the
AX25-UTILS.
There´s no problem in doing
this with 2 static ip´s or with dynamic ones (using DDNS or sg. else) but
we have got a more challenging problem there.
One station has got a normal static
IP (ISDN connection), the other one is using an Internet service via
Cable-TV.
The every PC has got a static IP, but
a privat one (out of the 10.XXX.XXX.XXX) subnet.
From the Internet, requests from this
Computer always come from the same real! IP adress.
A ping to this IP ends up in Nirvana,
whereas in a traceroute command can be seen, that a Gateway of the Cable-TV
provider blocks all requests from the Internet.
So my questions, has anybody already
had such a problem and perhaps knows a way to solve this problem??
