I just wrote a simple scc rx/tx monitor programm wich monitors the TX
state and the DCD state from my 3 scc modems.
To get the DCD state i had to add an element to 'struct scc_stat' in
scc.h, and some code to fil it, in scc.c (i'm not 100% i've got all
correct places)
A .tgz file is attached, which contains the sccmon.c programm, and the
modified scc.[ch].
Perhaps you want to look at it, or better integrate it with your/kernel
code? (5 lines code are added)

Argh! All right, so how am I supposed to work with Linux when
everything's already been done?! Can't these people leave some
