well, since it rejects me too, when I try to call it from home, using MY
setup, yes, I'm quite positive that there are no differences. The only
differences that appeared SOME TIME AGO were when I cut acces to telnet (in
/etc/hosts.allow). Then, the node refused to work. I opened access to telnet
since then , and the node started to work intermitently. Of course, there
MAY be some other subltle changes, but nothing I can think of. And theere is
that strange message, "no uid-callsign association found".

For some strange reasons I had to compile the utils under kernel 2.0.35.
They refused to compile under kernel 2.1.122, there were some strange errors
I don't remember now.
