please if I am asking a stupid question)
I have been active on the packet on the local freq. with the help of
Baycom 7910 modem.But recently I complied a custom kernel for my linux
system as I was experimenting on my linuxbox and to my suprise I found
build in Sound card 2.4/4.8/9.6k modem support in the options which I
didn't know till now & I never had tried this previously even when I was
a regular user of RH5.1 for 1 year. So I got interested and read all the
FAQ/HOW-TO's but couldn't understand and finally I found my way to this
list. The question now in my mind are
1.Can I replace my existing PC+Baycom Hardware+Baycom for dos with the
LINUX+Souund Card modem+software, If it is possible then what's the
software I should use with the inbuilt sound card modem ? .
2.What can I use to replace jvfax/embaycom in linux for fax/sat
communication
3.I couldn't understand the ampr.org concept of IP for us form readme's.
4.Is there any gateway from Radio-Internet or Internet-Radio ?
