cells.. Apparently I have to, for my lashup, set up two versions of
sendmail or another dedicated MTA..

I am learning something new every day. If 'mail' at the
RedHat command line does not use sendmail that means, to me, that
either RH has assigned 'mail' to their version of something that
includes a Mail Transfer Agent, possibly SMail, QMail or their own.
My box has 'mail' that is a symb link to Mail, the BSD mailer and it
uses sendmail as the delivery agent.. It has been my understanding
that there is no such thing as a combination mailer and delivery
agent under one invokation.. (I've been very wrong before.) :^)..
It could also be since you have a BBS plus much more, your's
works that way.. I'll keep grinding away and am enjoying the dialog
on this list-server.. And yes, I have O'Reillys 'sendmail' book and
that, lately, has been my exercise - lifting it... HI.
