I fully agree with you! In fact, I'd be very thankful if anybody could tell me
if this timings are right for a soundmodem connection in VHF:
Soundmodem parameters:
sethdlc -i sm0 -a txd 200 txtail 20 slot 100 ppersist 40
AX25 timers:
echo 1000 > /proc/sys/net/ax25/sm0/t1_timeout
echo 300 > /proc/sys/net/ax25/sm0/t2_timeout
echo 30000 > /proc/sys/net/ax25/sm0/t3_timeout
