I use a Boca Research 6-port board.  This is considered a dumb multiport
shared irq board.  It's a bunch of 65550's with some jumpers for various
shared vs. non-shared IRQs and port addresses.  Not entirely flexible
(you may need to remap your current com1/2 via the bios in order to manage
to get all 8 serials working).
