Hello everyone, I am having a problem getting the 56K ZOOM to initialize. Have tried to do so with minicom 1.81.1 I am using Slackware 3.6, Linux 2.0.35. Am also using a four port board from Byterunner, with each port addressed separately but using the same IRQ(=10). This configuration works well in Win 95. When I try to initialize with minicom the initialization string displays one letter about every 20 second take several minutes to initialized the complete string. The TR indicator on the modem lightsm but I can never get an off hook (OH) light. I also tried Seyon and it found the modem, but the results were about the same. The only difference is that if I let it go, it would come off hook and dial. I know this is probably not the best place for this question, but can someone help me?
