My sincerest thanks to everyone who responded with positive comments, and
even to those with nothing nice to say, in response to my request for
assistance. I really appreciate the outpouring of help that came forth, in
the spirit of amateur radio. I use an IDE drive, so am confident that it is
going to do what it is supposed to do when I transfer my RH Linux v5.2
(kernel 2.0.36) and TNOS v2.30 over to a high end computer in the near
future. Now if I could get my ham radio to internet gateway working with a
56K dialup modem and PPP..... :)
